Pistol.

Olivia's wearing: Sass and Bide singlet, Shakuhachi jacket, Sass and Bide jeans, Acne Pistol boots,
Tiffany & Co. necklace, Louis Vuitton bracelet.

The perfect pair of boots is hard to find - you have to consider the heel height, the fabric, the colour, the zipper detail (if you're as fussy as me) and so on. It's almost impossible to find a pair of boots in which every element, right down to the colour of the stitching, is perfect. I had been wanting a pair of simple ankle boots for months and I always had the Acne Pistol's in the back of mind (more so the front, as I stalked them online almost everyday). I finally took the plunge and I honestly don't know why I didn't get a pair sooner, they are just what my wardrobe was missing. I love the simplicity of them and the fact that they can be worn with just about every piece of clothing ever created. All hail Acne.

Flora.

Kate's wearing: Dotti t-shirt, Liv's Neon Hart gillet, Nana pants, Isabel Marant boots, Hermes bracelet,
Michael Kors watch, MAC 'morange' lipstick.

Floral pants have become a staple in both of our wardrobes, this particular pair are insanely comfortable so they've become my go-to pants when I can't be bothered putting lots of effort into an outfit. You know those days where you just want to be comfortable, but reasonably stylish as well? These pants are perfect for that.

Raising The Bar.

Olivia's wearing: Sportsgirl knit, Sass and Bide Raising the Bar jeans, Country Road boots,
 Lovisa necklace, Karen Walker rings.

Isn't it odd how women only want things when they can't have them, like these jeans for instance. When they first came out I wasn't fussed at all, perhaps because I typically like darker leopard prints and I already have two pairs of Sass and Bide animal print jeans. True to form, I started to take notice of them once they were completely sold out. I always fall in love with pieces that are almost unattainable and then I stalk a billion websites hoping to find any trace of whatever item it is that my mind won't let me forget. I didn't hesitate when I found out that they were bringing these babies back by popular demand and I've hardly taken them off since. They are probably the most comfortable pair of jeans I've ever bought, the denim is super soft and they have the perfect amount of stretch.

Dicker.

Kate's wearing: Zimmermann singlet, J Brand coral jeans, Isabel Marant Dicker boots, Louis Vuitton belt,
YSL ring, Michael Kors watch.

I never thought I'd actually have these in my possession, I have seriously stalked these boots online for a what feels like a trillion years. I first wanted them when I saw a photo of Kate Bosworth wearing them at Coachella a couple of years ago, although I've told myself I'll never look half as cool as her wearing them (a girl can dream). They are without a doubt the perfect riding boot. I'd fantasised about them so much and had such high expectations, that I thought that for some reason they wouldn't live up to the hype, but they definitely do. They are insanely comfortable and the height and shape of them is perfect. I always fancied this camel colour rather than the signature taupe, I feel like it suits my wardrobe better and they make more of a statement. Of course I had to break them in whilst wearing a pair of J Brands, they've become a second skin (not like I needed to point that out).

Botanical.

Olivia's wearing: Bardot top, Alexander Wang All-Over Botanical jeans, Mimco necklace, YSL ring, Wittner clogs.

I always liked this botanical print from Alexander Wang but never thought I'd actually purchase a piece from the collection. I stumbled across these pants on sale on Saks and I told myself not to chip into my savings, but come on, how could I resist a pair of printed Alexander Wang jeans at 60% off?! Although they do slightly resemble a cheesy hawaiian shirt, I think the print has become a classic and it's surprisingly quite versatile.

Coated.

Kate's wearing: Equipment blouse, J Brand jeans, Michael Kors watch, Hermes bracelet, YSL ring, 2 Baia Vista wedges.

I never thought I'd follow the pajama trend because quite frankly I think it's weird and only some people (aka Rumi Neely) can pull it off. I didn't actually get this Equipment blouse with the trend in mind, I just loved the style of it and I had been wanting one for quite some time, but I couldn't find one with the right fit or in a colour that I loved. Equipment blouses certainly are pricey and I had been wondering what all the fuss was about, now I understand the appeal. They're so understated and classic and the fabric is divine.

I promise I will (try to) stop posting about J Brand jeans, but it's a little bit hard considering I wear a pair almost everyday. These coated red ones are one of my latest purchases, I love the black so much that I couldn't resist buying the red; they have such an edgy vibe and they make any ordinary outfit look cooler than it is.

Orchid.

Olivia's wearing: T by Alexander Wang tank, Topshop pants, Sportsgirl necklace,
Hermes bracelet, YSL ring, Steve Madden sandals.

I had been wanting to jump on the floral pants bandwagon for a while but I don't like a lot of the floral patterns that I see, they either look too vintage or too bright and tacky. I saw these vibrant, floral pants on Olivia Palermo months ago and loved them instantly, but never in a million years did I think they'd be Topshop. I happened to be scrolling through their website one night and found these babies in stock, in my size - so of course I couldn't say no. I love the fact that they're more of a botanical floral print, similar to the amazing Camilla and Marc Rhapsody pattern (as I previously lusted over here).

I finally got my first basic from the T by Alexander Wang range (and it certainly won't be my last). I had been stalking this lemongrass tank online for what seemed like a century, but for some odd reason I never took the plunge, until now. I love the subtle green/yellow colour and the soft, light fabric, I knew I'd love the Wang basics, seeing I'm so in love with his bags and shoes. I think I'll have to get one of his amazing knits next...
