Lily.

Olivia's wearing: Zimmermann jumper, Sass and Bide Skinny Boy jeans, Alexander Wang Marion bag,
Karen Walker Helter Skelter sunglasses, Country Road wedges.

I was attracted to this fluffy Zimmermann jumper the second I laid eyes on it (although it does slightly resemble a character from Monsters Inc.) It's hard to go past the beautiful dark mint colour, especially since I'm so fond of all things mint. I also love the bold, fluffy fabric, it's incredibly soft and warm, whenever I put it on I never want to take it off.

Coated jeans are something that every girl should have in her wardrobe, they're the perfect medium between simple, black skinny jeans and leather pants. They look great paired with knits and tees, but you can also dress them up for night time.

I decided to give my hair a bit of a snip, I'm someone who gets quite bored having the same hairstyle for too long and although I had been growing my hair for ages, I had no attachment to it at all. I had been wanting to cut it all the same length for quite some time, because I love that thicker, more polished look. Although it may not seem that different to before, it's just the amount of change that I needed, I'm glad I finally decided to do it, everyone needs a change every so often...

Marble.

Kate's wearing: J Brand jacket, Sass and Bide singlet, J Brand jeans, Celine sunglasses, Sportsgirl necklace,
Alexander Wang bag, Michael Kors watch, Hermes bracelet, Country Road loafers.

A denim jacket is a winter wardrobe staple, however I couldn't decide if I wanted one or if it suited my style. The main reason why I decided to get this one was for an obvious reason - it's J Brand and also because I like the faded colour and the slim fit, the rose gold hardware adds a nice touch too. Seeing I'm now a J Brand addict (loud and proud) I thought it would be silly not to get a colour in their marble dye range. The light blue is a safe choice because the marble effect is only subtle and it's also very versatile.

We love it when we get the chance to take photos for the blog at the perfect time of day that we have discovered, which is in the afternoon when the sun is really light and golden, but not setting just yet. It doesn't matter how good your location is, it's the lighting that makes a photo in our opinion. We always spend our money on clothes for the blog and forget about the camera, but I think it's time we gave our trusty SLR a bit of attention, so we're looking at purchasing a new lens in the coming weeks in order to make our photos just that little bit better (donations accepted...just kidding).

Watson x Watson.

Olivia's wearing: Watson x Watson collared drape vest, Dotti t-shirt, Topshop jeans, 2 Baia Vista sandals.

I had been hunting for a fur vest that would be an investment piece rather than just an impulse buy that I would like for one winter. I tried to find a good quality faux fur vest first that looked/felt like real fur because I'm a huge animal lover, but they're hard to find. I spotted this Watson x Watson collared drape vest months ago and fell in love with it instantly, but what really made up my mind was the fact that it's ethically made, although it is rabbit fur, so I felt like I couldn't feel completely guilty for the purchase. I'm so glad that I did decide to get it though, because it's such a timeless piece and it's unbelievably soft and comfortable, I know I'll get so much wear out of it this winter and for many winters to come...

Empress.

Kate's wearing: Topshop jacket, J Brand Empress floral jeans, Zimmermann singlet,
Hermes bracelet, 2 Baia Vista wedges.

As soon as I saw this neon biker jacket on one of my favourite bloggers, Aimee Song, I had to have it. I love the colour because it's different to the usual biker jackets you see, as most of them are dark coloured and I'm completely obsessed with neon at the moment (obviously). As for the floral jeans, it's pretty self-explanatory why I bought them; floral + J Brand = must have. I like the fact that it's a monotone floral print because you can wear almost anything with them, whether it be bright colours or neutral tones.

Bird of Paradise.

Olivia's wearing: Mum's Sass and Bide Step by Step camisole, Sass and Bide It Keeps Going pants, Hermes bracelet,
Steve Madden sandals, Sass and Bide x Make a Wish Foundation necklace.

I'm notorious for buying pieces that are either really likeable by those with eccentric taste or just too over the top, these Sass and Bide orange pants are one of those things. Although they may not look that bright in these photos, they are actually neon orange, so they make me feel like I've just escaped from prison. But how could anything designed by Sass and Bide be bad?! Another thing I tend to do is wear an outfit that's all from the same designer, but I'm willing to make an exception for Sass and Bide because their designs are just too good and their pieces look amazing worn together. This vibrant, printed cami is a fine example of that, it's a shame it's not mine, luckily mum and I are the same size.

Rainy Days.

The weather has been horrible for the past week, so unfortunately we haven't been able to take any photos of our outfits, which is a shame because we've added quite a few new pieces to our wardrobes lately. When I can't take photos of my own clothes, I love to lust over things that I wish I could have and Polyvore is the perfect place to do it. I love these Hudson Nebula jeans, the print is so unique because it literally looks like someone has just had a bit of fun with a paint brush and I love the bright, cobalt colour with hints of neon mixed in. The Pashli Satchel is a bag that will always be in my head, it's so simple and classic, I think a black one would be a great investment. As for the Joan's, I didn't actually like them at first, probably because I was too in love with the Colette's, but they've grown on me, I think it's the ankle strap and the pointy toe that draws me in.
