The Bucket List.

Bucket bags are definitely a style that comes and goes, but after stalking the current offerings on Instagram and Polyvore we are completely in love. We are all about practicality when it comes to handbags and bucket bags definitely tick all of our boxes - they're modern yet timeless, they mould to fit all your essentials and they have a shoulder strap (this is always a necessity). These are our top picks for designer bucket bags that we would love to get our hands on, we are kindly accepting donations for the python Saint Laurent beauty on the top right...

Hello Summer.

Top: Topshop / Shorts: H&M / Sandals: ASOS / Fedora: Rag & Bone / Bag: Proenza Schouler / Sunglasses: Karen Walker.

It's officially the first day of summer in Australia and we couldn't be happier! We're sure all Aussie girls can relate when we say that we always welcome the season with a new bikini (or two), my amazing crochet set from She Made Me is currently on it's way and I can't wait to feature it in one of our upcoming posts.

This was a simple outfit that I quickly threw together for a trip to Byron Bay over the weekend. As we've said before, we love anything off the shoulder at the moment because tops like this can easily be dressed up or down and they're perfect to wear on hot days.

Turtle Club.

Top left to bottom right: Proenza Schouler / Paul & Joe /  3.1 Phillip Lim / MangoH&MMango

Never did I think I would see the day where I would be writing a guide to buying turtle neck knits. This is one of those trends where when it first became apparent, I couldn't quite wrap my head around it, but here I am now searching for more online. To me turtle necks used to be a fashion no-no and were considered 'mum-ish' by most. Now I find myself living in a climate where the unbearably cold temperatures mean you basically have to throw style out the window and dress purely for sensibility, and turtle neck sweaters fit in perfectly with my new-found logic. Luckily some of my favourite designers/brands have jumped onboard, so there is an element of style to go with this trend. These are some of my top picks, Happy shopping!

Fresh.

Romper: Spell / Espadrilles: Windsor Smith / Rings: London Manori

To me this spread is the epitome of spring - white clothing, fresh blooms and espadrilles. It's times like these that I love living in Queensland because the weather already feels like summer, yet there's still amazing flowers in season (peonies are back!) and we still get some cooler nights. I was fortunate enough to pick up the dress from this range at the recent Spell warehouse sale and I love it just as much as this romper. I'm currently brainstorming the ideal location for the post, stay tuned.

Leather & Stripes.

T-shirt: Zimmermann / Leather Skirt: Zara / Fedora: Forever 21 / Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylors (low-cut) / Watch: Michael Kors / Pearl Ring: Forever 21 / Lipstick: Sportsgirl

If I had to wear one outfit everyday for the rest of my life, it would probably be this one (or a very similar variation). It takes a fair amount of will-power for me to not wear stripes everyday, and at the moment these sneakers too. Since I made the decision to purchase a pair of Chuck Taylors again (a shoe I haven't owned since high school), they have hardly left my feet. They are so easy to wear and fit in perfectly with my somewhat monochrome wardrobe. This Zara leather skirt is a piece that phases in and out of my 'staples' selection. It may not be the most comfortable thing to wear, but I have a soft spot for quilted leather and since I have been pairing it with these sneakers, it is safe to say I have (temporarily) rekindled my love for it.

October Favourites.

T-shirt: Zimmermann / Boyfriend Jeans: J Brand / Sneakers: Converse / Handbag: Alexander Wang / Sunglasses: Celine / Midi Rings: Forever 21 / Cleanser: Mary Kay Time Wise 3-in-1 Cleanser / Moisturiser: Mary Kay Botanicals 'Hydrate Formula 3'

It seems as though our wardrobes are slowly (but surely) condensing to contain mostly black, white and grey- but we aren't complaining. This look is a combination of a few items we have worn on high rotation this month, as well as items that are at the top of our want/need list (we are particularly looking at you Alexander Wang Marion).

With Olivia moving into summer in Australia and I (Kate) heading towards winter in America, it is important for us to keep our skin hydrated. From experimenting with many different beauty brands and products, we have found Mary Kay's cleansers and moisturisers suit our skin best. Our skin has a tendency to get very oily and these products are best at combating this, whilst at the same time ensuring our skin doesn't get too dry during the colder months.

What are some of your must-have items this month?

Monochrome.

Leather Jacket: Zara (similar here) / Ripped Jeans: Zara (similar here) / High-neck Knit: Forever 21 (different option here) / Runners: Nike Free Runs (similar here)

Never (ever) did I think I would find myself owning a turtle-neck knit, let alone publicising it on my blog for everyone to see, but this is fast becoming my favourite knit in my collection. It is safe to say this won't be the only turtle-neck I will own. Considering this will be my second time braving winter in the Mid-west of America, I came to the realisation that I was in need of more knits. Olivia and I find the perfect knit (loose fitting, but not too baggy and in the right colour) extremely hard to find, so we always feel a sense of accomplishment whenever we stumble accross one.  I love the fit of this one and the fact that I don't have to worry about a scarf when I wear it.

Another item on repeat at the moment are my Nikes. They have fast-become my go-to shoe not only for when I workout, but I find myself incoropating them into casual, everyday outfits more often than not (even with dresses).

Little Black Bag Guide.

These bags are our picks for the perfect 'no-fuss' everyday handbags. As you may have noticed from our outfit posts, we always opt for smaller handbags, rather than larger duffle sized bags. This may be because we are petite and feel as though if we use a bag much bigger than these we would look like a businesswoman carrying her briefcase to work. When buying any leather goods you have the option to blow all your savings or to opt for something more cost-effective. None of these options are going to save you many pennies, but we can guarantee they will last and stick with you season upon season.

On a side note, we have come to the conclusion black is the only way to go when purchasing an everyday handbag. We've made the mistake in the past of buying brown handbags and even 'sea-mist' and although we may have loved them at first, that love soon turned into frustration at the fact that they didn't look right with many of our outfits. So we say - always opt for black!

Which is your favourite?

Floral Bomber.

Floral Bomber Jacket: Zara (other options here and here) / T-shirt: COS / Denim shorts: Brandy Melville / Belt: H&M / Fedora: Urban Outfitters (similar here) / Lattice Booties: Zimmermann / Midi Rings: Forever 21 (similar here)

Considering this is my first fall season in America, I have been experimenting with fall wardrobe staples. I have owned this floral bomber jacket for quite some time, but for some reason beyond my knowledge it has never appeared on the blog until now. Bomber jackets are such a great transeasonal piece that you can wear during fall (or Spring in Australia) tied around your waist as a safety net or they can also be worn in winter for an extra layer. At the moment I am making the most of wearing some of my favourite summer pieces like these Zimmermann lattice booties and COS tee, as I know it is only a short matter of time before they will be packed away until next summer when the snow hits...

Slide Guide.

Rose Gold: Seed Heritage / Black Leather: Wittner / Dark leopard (if you want to splurge): Givenchy / Lighter leopard: Windsor Smith / Black: Topshop / Black pony hair: Ancient Greek.

Considering we are confessed slide addicts, we thought we'd put together a guide of our top picks for anyone who's contemplating jumping on the bandwagon. There are hundreds of options out there, but these ones are our favourites because they're all simple, affordable (besides the leopard Givenchy beauties) and very versatile, which means they can blend into just about any wardrobe. We love the cross over style as they're generally more petite, which looks better on smaller feet, so we would suggest these to anyone who has hobbit sized feet like us. Any pony hair and animal print slides are also a favourite of ours because we love the texture and you can never go wrong with leopard print. Just like any other trend, you definitely have the option to splurge or to save some pennies, as designers like Isabel Marant have released amazing, butter soft slides for around the $500 mark, but you can also opt for more affordable options from brands such as Wittner for under $200.

Sweater Weather.

Knit: Brandy Melville / Shorts: Brandy Melville / Slides: Seed Heritage / Love Necklace: Nicole Fendel / Fine rings: London Manori

This is the ideal Spring outfit for me at the moment. I am in love with this speckled knit from Brandy Melville, it has the perfect, relaxed fit and I actually really like the subtle v-neck (which I thought I'd never say). I usually wear it with a light, silky singlet underneath and it looks great paired with boyfriend jeans or shorts, especially these little printed ones, which are ridiculously comfortable and easy to wear.

Our obsession with slides isn't going away anytime soon. These rose gold beauties from Seed are my latest find and they have hardly left my feet since I bought them. Slides are definitely my go-to shoe for Spring as they can be paired with anything from a dress, to shorts. I'm looking forward to incorporating them into my summer wardrobe as well because until now basic sandals were pretty much the only option for the hot climate in Australia and I have pretty much worn all of my ones from last season to death! Stay tuned for our 'Slide Guide' coming soon!

Little Striped Dress.

Dress/singlet: Bassike / Denim shirt: Zara (similar here) / Espadrilles: Windsor Smith / Sunglasses: Karen Walker

They say that every girl needs a little black dress, but a little striped dress is even more appealing to us. We find ourselves wanting to wear stripes far too often, so we had to flesh out our options, we couldn't just rely on striped t-shirts and singlets to get us by anymore and both of our wardrobes are in major need of more dresses for warmer weather. Believe it or not, this is my first Bassike piece, which would come as a shock to our Aussie readers. I've always loved their fabrics and relaxed cuts so I decided to cheat and purchase this singlet two sizes bigger than I usually buy. Voila! I now have a striped dress.

September Favourites.

Knit: H&M / Jeans: Topshop / Clutch: Gypsy 05  / Fedora: Rag & Bone / Shoes: Steven by Steve Madden / Sunglasses: Dior / Rings: ASOS (heart) & The Iconic (arrow) / Succulent: (need we say more?) / Eye shadow: Nyx / Lip gloss: Nyx Butter Gloss (our favourite colour is 'Creme Brulee' aka the perfect subtle pink)

With Olivia experiencing spring in Australia and I (Kate) facing my first fall season in The U.S, our go-to outfit has been a loose knit and white ripped jeans, oh and don't forget our favourite ever so comfortable leopard print espadrilles by Steve Madden - you really can't go wrong. On a side note, we never mention any beauty products, but it was hard to ignore our two current favourites by Nyx- their amazing Butter Gloss and Natural eye shadow palette. We are all about natural looking make-up, so these two products are perfect (not to mention, so affordable).

Lace & Loose Cardigans.

Cardigan: Forever 21 (similar here) / Top: Urban Outfitters (alternative here) / Jeans: H&M (D.I.Y. rips) / Clutch: Etsy / Sandals: Topshop (Also available in black, as seen in our 'Comfort Reigns Supreme' post)

All of the pieces that comprise this look have been on my 'should buy' list for quite some time now, so I am quite pleased to have them in my wardrobe. You have probably noticed bohemian embellished clutches have appeared on our Instagram (@twomorrowblog) more often than not recently, but we really can't help it - we love what they have to offer to a simple outfit like this. This latest clutch is my favourite Etsy find to date. On a side note, I grew tired of never being able to find skinny jeans that were ripped at both knees and in the right shade of denim, so I decided to rip my own and I am quite happy with the result. All you need is a small blade (a stanley knife, for example) and you're ready to go (saying it out loud and typing it made it seem quite dangerous, but I promise it's not).

SELLING: Proenza Schouler PS11 Mini in 'Saddle' Brown.

I (Kate) am selling my Proenza Schouler PS11 Mini handbag in 'Saddle' brown. This bag is in very good condition and includes the original dust bag and authenticity tags. I have kept the bag in its dust bag every night and everyday that I didn't use it. For a majority of the time I have owned this bag I mostly ownly used it on weekends, as I was working a 9-5 job. I have always loved this bag, especially because of the unique hardware. I also love that the 'saddle' colour isn't your typical brown bag. I have decided to part ways with it because I am ready for something new and have been lusting over the Celine Trio Bag for far too long. As you have all probably figured, I am travelling at the moment and cannot afford to keep this, aswell as purchase another designer bag. California Lovin'

Kate's wearing: Bec & Bridge tank (similar here), Urban Outfitters Fedora (similar here), Celine sunglasses.

Our lives are in a state of limbo at the moment as we're both on an endless search for jobs, so it's easier for us to just escape reality by flicking through some of our old snaps from California. We took these photos one afternoon when we were wandering around Venice Beach and we're not sure why we haven't uploaded them earlier. We are both missing the California lifestyle - we miss the perfect weather, the never-ending food choices, the amazing shopping and of course the spontaneous trips to Disneyland (thanks to our annual passes).

Whenever we are travelling or have recently come back from an overseas trip we are always that little bit more inspired when it comes to our blog. But seeing as Olivia and I are apart (I am currently located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Olivia is back living on the Gold Coast) sometimes it can be hard to keep the blog going. We feel as though our blog is in a state of limbo aswell. We would like to hear what our followers would like to see more of on our blog. Whether it be more Polyvore outfit creations, more personal style posts, etc. We would really appreciate if you could either comment on this post or on our Instagram account (@twomorrowblog) and give us some feedback!
